Super neat set up, I love how it looks! I love checking up on my ants and giving them honey and video recording their feeding. I highly recommend this extremely well made ant home. However, I do recommend that you use non toxic silicone to secure the “open world” on the bottom and maybe sides so that it’s nice and snug. It’s a small inconvenience. I enjoyed putting it together. I’m going to buy more attachments once my colony grows and expands its kingdom.

Beautiful, well-made formicarium. For a first-time ant keeper, I would have preferred an instruction page, but I was able to put it together myself as the parts are mostly self-explanatory. The kids and I love to watch the ants in action. I am on my second tube of red harvester ants and they have been very happy in the formicarium for a few weeks already. I also like the web forum available for any questions about ant keeping.

With a little extra work Thomas at ant shack can customize your nest with a logo. I went with my custom tex ants Logo! And for the nest wow just look how my Campanotus Bicolor love it with and have made it full of large brood piles! The perfect nest for anyone interested in raising ants.
